The price of DeFi-protocol token 1inch increased by 20% in half an hour, reaching the mark of $4.25. As of 5:15 p.m. MSC, the altcoin is trading at $4 and has a capitalization of $731 million. The price of the token has declined by more than 12% in a month.

The value of 1inch began to rise sharply after the decentralized trading platform announced it had raised $175 million. According to The Block, the DeFi-protocol funding round was led by Amber Group. Other major companies such as VanEck, Fenbushi Capital, Alameda Research, Celsius, Nexo and Gemini Frontier Fund have also invested in the project.
